Future Explorers: Where do you want to study abroad?
I graduated (or will graduate) in (year):
International Relations and Spanish
One piece of advice for those about to venture abroad:
I advise you to really get to know your city of choice instead of just trying see all of Europe in your free time. Personally, I thinks its more rewarding, especially when you make friends with natives. I'm not saying not to travel, but for me, the most fun I've had has been in Madrid with my Spanish friends.
More about me:
Although I am an International Relations and Spanish major, music (trumpet) is my greatest passion and has made my abroad experience. Madrid happens to have a great jazz/funk scene and I have been luckily enough to play in many of the venues, record with Spanish musicians, and most importantly make friends with these musicians, who I have found to be incredibly open and fun people!
