One piece of advice for those about to venture abroad:
It was definitely hard for me financially but anyone can really do it there are so many great scholarships available, I truly believe studying abroad is one of the best experiences for any student considering it. It really opens your eyes and makes you see life in a new way.
More about me:
I am Alberto Saavedra born and raised from Richmond Ca. In a small city in the bay area, you don't think that there is anything outside of the environment you are in since you are born in this "bubble" and see every family member stay in the same city. Until I went to college, I was able to see the world in a new way I was able to see things that my fellow peers aren't able to get to experience, but that helps me encourage them and the youth to see there are so many opportunities to better your life through education. Education is the key to success in life, and it has helped me so much in my life, it has been my outlet when I did not think I was capable of doing anything else in life.
